4Finance was founded 2005 as a partnership with the founding partners Martin Signer and Barbara Burtscher. Since August 2007 4Finance Ltd. is a Swiss registered shareholding company, fully owned by the founders. With this structure, we can guarantee independence and provide real added-value for our clients.

Wealth Manangement

Customers' requirements could not be more varied. Some of them have full workloads that leave them with no time to monitor their assets. Others might have the time but they lack the interest to deal with their assets day in, day out. Then there are those who would like to look after their assets and would also have the time to do so - but they do not understand anything about them. A solution that is right for one customer need not necessarily apply to another! Every individual has his or her preferences, personal needs and attitudes to life. But ultimately, everyone has similar objectives as far as their assets are concerned. These objectives and ideas are based on the fundamental values of trust, sound investment and preservation of value. The only way to meet all of these needs is to take the time to discuss these objectives together with customers, and to develop a strategy that is tailored to each customer (asset allocation). 4Finance is the right partner to approach for all of the situations described above.

As an independent financial service provider, we take care of contact with your bank or banks on your behalf. We consolidate your assets independently and free of any conflicts of interest. Together with you, we devise an asset allocation that is tailored to your needs, and we implement it as you specify. At intervals which you define, we inform you about the current situation on the international financial markets, so that we can enter into newly emerging situations immediately and initiate whatever steps are necessary.

Our wealth management is based on the basis of limited power of attorney for asset management in favour of 4Finance. The power of attorney is restricted on investments within the deposit of your custodian bank and excludes any other payments. This can be both discretionary or non-discretionary. The fees are the same.

For other services, 4Finance works with independent, carefully selected specialists such as bookkeeper (e.g. annual tax declaration), asset managers, lawyers, real estate specialists, art experts and tax specialists. Of course, we are also happy to work with your existing partners.

Workshops

4Finance attempts to bridge the gap between academic financial theory and its practical applications. We are all aware that there is a vast number of sophisticated theoretical models on financial matters. However, 4Finance has a firm belief that a fundamental understanding of this basically simple topic is crucial.

We provide courses in valuation, financial economics, derivative valuation and risk management.
